Super Junior - Black Suit

OMFGGGG! I didn't think Suju would have another comeback EVER! I'm so happy right now. Y'all know these guys are my favs and have been forever. In fact, nothing less than SJ's comeback probably could have gotten me writing again. Even though it's only half of the original members, I'm so excited about 8-jib! Here's to 12 years of hotness!

They didn't think they'd have a comeback this year either.

I love seeing our oppas looking right in their luxury suits and accessories! If wearing a black suit is too on the nose, how about these suggestions for a feminine take on their sartorial awesomeness? As in their MV for "Devil," stick to mostly neutrals with pops of red.

Super Junior - Black Suit

Super Junior - Black Suit by luhunnie featuring vans sneakers

The look on the far left was inspired by sexy Siwon's sleek black suit and white turtleneck combo. Throw on some Louboutin pumps if you're fancy and a long faux fur coat inspired by Shindong's will keep you warm for a night out on the town.

The look second to the left was a combination of inspirations: I took the navy pinstripe mini from Leeteuk's auctioneer suit and paired it with a casual white tee and Gucci shades a la Heechul. This look could be dressed up or down, but I like the idea of Eunhyuk's black Vans to make a chic and comfy outfit. Try some metallic oxfords for a classier version!

The red dress in the middle is inspired by the backup dancers, as is the floral mesh bodysuit with the velvet mini. The dancers at the auction were wearing such sexy outfits! Channel them in something skintight and neutral with red accents and strappy heels.

The look on the far right wasn't inspired by any particular pieces, but I think it evokes the menswear "black suit" concept as translated to something cute and feminine. The buttons on the skirt are reminiscent of a double breasted suit jackets, and the black trim on the collar reminds me of a bowtie.

What did you think of Suju's comeback? Do you guys even like SJ, or am I getting old? Lemme just go run and hide as my generation of K-pop goes up in a sea of glitter and confetti.

Make room, Shindong!

(J/k I like the younger groups too). Check out their catchy new song and MV and tell me what you think!

Style Inspiration: Sailor Moon!

Ok, lovelies, raise your hands if you are or ever were a fan of Sailor Moon! I've been obsessed with her adventures since I was a little girl and used to rush home from school to watch it in the afternoons. Have you been watching the remake: Sailor Moon Crystal? I have, and it's refreshing my love for Usagi and her friends all over again.

Not only am I reliving my youth, I'm starting to get super excited for spring here in Korea! It actually is starting to feel warmer this week, so my mind is going full tilt fantasizing about cherry blossoms, picnics in the park with LBF, and adorable spring fashions. I thought: why not look for inspiration from the Sailor Scouts? ^^

I love their looks in the opening a lot, so I created very literal interpretations for the following sets. They definitely look like something you'd see lovely Seoulistas walking around wearing, don't they? Don't forget the cute umbrellas! (click on the sets for shopping info)

Sailor Moon Crystal - Usagi

Sailor Moon, Soldier of Love and Justice. Usagi's signature color is pink, and it reflects her lovely personality perfectly. She's got a lot of love and compassion, and a lot of aegyo (as they say in Korea lol). The replica rabbit umbrella is extra adorable! I want that Luna bag too!

Sailor Moon Crystal - Ami

Sailor Mercury, Soldier of Water and Wisdom. Ami's disposition is a bit more intellectual. She's calm and studious, and these pretty outfits in her signature light blue would be perfect for her. She's secretly a fan of romance novels, so a few subtle feminine features like ruffles and lace are fun.

Sailor Moon Crystal - Rei

Sailor Mars, Soldier of Fire and Passion. I've always viewed Rei as a bit more badass, but she's also more conservative than the other girls. She is a Shinto priestess part-time, and her outlook on life is very no-nonsense. Just because she doesn't care much for guys, however, doesn't mean she can't wear cute clothes!

Just wanted to break up your reading with another reason to love this show: Tuxedo Kamen -samaaaaaa! Probably my first crush ever.

Sailor Moon Crystal - Makoto

Sailor Jupiter, Soldier of Thunder and Courage. Makoto might look a bit intimidating at first because she's so tall and strong, but she's secretly a domestic goddess who loves cooking, cleaning, and gardening. Channel your inner girly girl with lovely pink shoes and a very feminine fragrance. Don't forget the signature rose earrings and replica umbrella!

Sailor Moon Crystal - Minako

Sailor Venus, Solider of Love and Beauty. After Usagi, Minako was probably my favorite Sailor Scout growing up--I lived for that long blonde hair and red bow! As an aspiring idol (or successful idol depending on the series), her look is fashion forward but never overdone. Orange isn't a color I turn to often, but I might have to give it a go this spring! we also share an obsession with boy bands kkkk.

What do you think? Which look is your favorite or best suits your personal style? I'm an Usagi, myself. ^^ Give me ALL the pink!

If you're a fan of Sailor Moon (or used to be back in the day), I highly recommend giving the remake Sailor Moon Crystal a chance if you haven't seen it yet. While the original show from the nineties had a lot of filler and a Power Rangers-esque "Monster of the Week" formula, the remake more closely follows the original comics and is gorgeous to behold.

Now, if you don't mind, I'll get back to binge watching seasons 1 and 2 again. ^o^

Angela

Korean Dating: Pensions and Weekend Getaways

Hi Lovelies! Shhh... whisper to me: have you ever been to a pension in the countryside with your lover??

I just got back from a romantic winter weekend getaway with the Lovely BF (LBF) and felt inspired to write about this charming facet of Korean dating.

Road trip time!! ^o^

Y'all know that Seoul is a huge city with lots to do, but sometimes it's nice to get out of town with your SO. Especially when the weather has been such crap!

This is what Seoul looks like lately.

So maybe you need a break? You choose a destination with pretty scenery and fun activities, then you need a place to stay. Maybe you want something a bit nicer than the tacky love motels/minimalist minbaks or a bit cheaper than the expensive resort hotels. Why not try a pension?

Korean pensions are like romantic guesthouses for couples. Well, they're not necessarily exclusively for couples but clearly have that in mind. Some of them have themes and decor that range from cute to cheesy--sometimes tasteful, but rarely elegant. These days there are more elegant options, but they're pricier. There have been more spa pensions popping up, which are kind of like tiny spa hotels.

Fancy! Read on CNN for more info. ^^

They're usually cozy, however, and try to make a lovely space for couples to spend a day or two enjoying each other's company. There's usually a big bed, a hot tub, a nice TV, a balcony for watching sunsets, swimming pool, etc. Some offer free breakfast. There's also usually a grill and picnic area so you and your sweetie can make cook BBQ together (because nothing says romance like samgyeopsal and beer lol). I'm not totally sure, but I think prices for basic rooms usually average from 100,000 to 200,000 per night.

LBF just decided to take me on a spontaneous long weekend to Seonjaedo, a little island near Incheon.
For getaway destinations, check out CNN Travel's list of 33 beautiful islands to visit in Korea!

It was freezing cold, so our beach walking hours were limited, but the winter sea was lovely and walking on a snowy beach was pretty magical. Even better was relaxing in a hot tub with champagne ad watching the snow outside! We also cooked our own BBQ for the first time, which was super fun and delicious! ^^

LBF is an excellent cook ;)
Not sure what to pack? Keep in mind that when visiting the country, you can keep it casual compared to Seoul.
See Korean Winter Weekend Getaway by luhunnie for shopping info.

I suggest bringing the following essentials:
  • weekend bag or cute backpack
  • a warm ass coat, cuz Korean winters are cold af
  • sunscreen--wear it every day, even in winter!
  • a good rich lip balm with SPF
  • boots! I like some heavy duty ones for snow outside and comfy ones too.
  • warm clothes, like fleece lined leggings and sweaters.
  • cute PJ's (or sexy lingerie, depending on your style)
  • rollerball fragrance (you don't want to bring a big bottle and risk it breaking)
  • champagne, because duh <3

I returned to Seoul feeling refreshed from our short trip, so I highly recommend booking a weekend in a pension as a cure for the city blues!

Lovely weekend trips are my cure for Korea's bitter winters. <3
What are your favorite weekend destinations outside of the city? More importantly, does your BF allow you to post his pics online? Maybe I'll talk him into it one of these days ㅋㅋㅋㅋ.

Early August Boy Group Style Round Up: SHINee, B1A4, Bigbang

SHINee - Married To The Music

SHINee - Married To The Music by luhunnie

Ok, I need to start off by explaining my history with Shinee. They were my very first K-pop group! They were actually the first people I ever heard speaking the Korean language. See, in September 2010 I had a nasty fall and broke some bones which required me to be bedridden for over a month. I was really depressed, and for some reason all I wanted to do was watch dance clips on Youtube...I guess just wishing I could get up and dance. One day, I was searching for hip-hop dance routines and stumbled on Shinee's 'Replay.' I loved it, looked it up, thought they were adorable, and pretty much devoured every Shinee related video I could find! It was through watching their episodes of 'Hello Baby' that I first became interested in Seoul and Korean culture. Therefore, Shinee will always have a special place in my heart no other group can fill!

Geez, they looked so young...

The boys already had really successful comeback earlier this year with 'View' (which was AMAZING) and are now continuing their success with the upbeat and super fun 'Married to the Music.' Honestly, I don't care much for the MV *runs and hides.* It's interesting and bizarre, but just a little too out there for me. I found it distracting from the song. On the other hand, I LOVE the live stages!

Who am I playing, they still look young lol.

The look on the left is based on Taemin's with the burgundy blazer over the graphic tee. I could never wear such destroyed denim, so some rips in the knees are the best I can do lol. Don't forget the striped headband! The boys were super into the Moschino Looney Tunes line this comeback, so I included the Sylvester hoody. Instead of Key's Bugs Bunny jersey, though, I opted for a cute cropped Moschino jersey under the black blazer. The black lace dress is based on the woman in the video (Madame Music? lol) who kept stealing their body parts. Reference the creepy music video with little details like the eyeball bag, bat necklace, and lip earrings.

What did you think of Shinee's bizarre concept this time around? Did you flinch when Key's head got cut off? I did. >.<

B1A4- Sweet Girl

Now for something a little lovelier! B1A4 is also one of my forever favorites: they were the very first group I saw live in concert and I've adored their cute quirky style from the start. I was soooooo excited about their comeback, you guys! The song 'Sweet Girl' is very calm and romantic with a little bit of funk.

The styling in the MV is VERY 70's, which is a look I;m not huge on but I'll do the best I can with it. The look the girl is wearing in the beginning (on the right) includes flare jeans, which I haven't worn since middle school and would rather not wear again. I don't mind the black chokers making a comeback though, those are cute. ^^

To channel CNU's look, rock a fringed suede jacket over denim. I loved Jinyoung's leopard outfit too with the gold tassel necklace: on the left I girlified it.

I mean.,.how is he real?
My favorite outfit was actually Sandeul's super cute cotton candy pink and blue set, but I just can't imagine it on anyone else. <3

Kyahhhhhh what a cutie!

Instead, I put together something based on the girl's look with the pink and red over black and white. You can include some cotton candy design nail art or accessories as a tribute to Sandeul. ^^

The whole MV is very romantic and magical, like a sweet dream. What did you think of the song and MV? Do you like B1A4's more mature laid back sound these days? Most importantly, which member's dream do you want to be in? kk I'm stuck between jumping on cotton candy with Sandeul and waltzing with Gongchannie! ^^

GD&TOP - Zutter

Last but not least, our crazy rapping duo is back with 'Zutter' which is a weird romanization of
쩔어. I love their sound and I love their outfits--the transition between the extreme swag and "normal" clothes. I wasn't even sure what was going on with some of their outfits. which I'm totally fine with.

Only GD would wear a bejeweled mustard velvet bathrobe in public and make it look good.

Other choices showed their style off well--I loved GD's lip print shirt and red aviators.

And props to the lady for having the guts to rock blue lipstick! I included it in the set in case any readers are equally bold (pics please!). If you can't afford the labels in the outfits I chose (I sure can't), you can still find something similar. The appearance of swag is more important. ;)

Sorry I didn't include the track suits kkkk. What did you think of the track and the MV? Are you happy to see GD and TOP do another collab? It's been ages! Bigbang has been super busy this summer too.

What's your favorite single Bigbang dropped this year? ^^ I'm finally caught up on the style front! Feel free to comment with requests for looks from MVs I missed.

We have a three day weekend coming up (thanks, Madame President for the holiday!), so everyone be safe and have a good time! <3

Early August Girl Group Style Roundup: Wonder Girls, T-ARA, Apink

Hi lovelies! Wow, I've been falling behind on my posts! Let's kick off my return with a K-pop style inspiration roundup featuring the 3 biggest girl group comebacks so far this month! Click on the photos for shopping info. ^^

Wonder Girls - I Feel You

Wonder Girls - I Feel You by luhunnie

Aw yeah, WG are back! I can't even express how much I loved this song. It was very old school with a serious 80's vibe, proving that Infinite isn't the only K-pop group that can channel that decade's sound properly! The looks themselves were pretty simple--the girls mostly wore bathing suit style leotards and heels as they "played" their instruments lol.

I, however, have neither the body confidence nor desire to leave my house wearing a leotard, so how about a simple bodycon sleeveless dress instead? Add a black belt around the waist and platform sandals, and you're golden! Don't forget the chandelier earrings and matching bright lipstick.

Also don't forget the cleavage and come hither eyes. Get it, Yubin!

The middle look is based on Hyelim's striped crop tank and shorts in the MV, while the American Apparel lip print tank appears on Sunmi in the first moments of the MV (you know...when she's on the toilet. Why, JYP??).

Did you enjoy the WC comeback as much as I did? What do you think of the 80's retro sound in K-pop?

T-ARA - So Crazy

Next we had some of the usual zany cuteness from T-ARA with 'So Crazy.' I'm not a huge fan of all the aegyo-filled silliness of the MV, but the song is usual T-ARA catchy and I love the little finger pointing dance at the "oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh" part haha. The girls look super cute in their marine girl fashions, but I don't recommends copping them exactly unless you want to look like you either raided a lingerie store or thought Halloween came early.

Ahoy, sailor! kkkkk

Instead, let's stick to a cute but realistic outfits in nautical white and blue with a few marine inspired accessories. Those navy and gold peeptoe pumps even have an anchor embellishment! <3

Did you enjoy T-ARA's comeback? What did you think of the MV and their marine girl costumes?

Seriously, the dance is super easy and fun!

Apink - Petal

Last but not least was Apink's 'Petal,' which featured some really lovely floral dresses and skirts. The looks in the MV were actually quite simple with the director opting to focus instead on the girls' pretty hair and faces. I loved the water lilies in the scenery--the whole thing was like a Monet painting. SO pretty. Just pick a lovely floral dress or skirt as the focal point and add some understated jewelry and accessories. For makeup, give your cheeks and lips a fresh rosy glow and don't forget the bright orange nail polish!

Aww they were so pretty!

I actually just saw Apink on Saturday doing a fansign at Times Square mall in Yeongdeungpo. It was a circus, but the girls seemed very nice and down to earth. The fans seemed to really enjoy themselves. :)

What did you think of 'Remember' and 'Petal' this summer? Do you have an Apink bias? I loved Eunji ever since Reply 1997. ^^

Please comment with requests for any K-pop style inspiration posts!

Kisses,
Angela

K-Pop Style: Super Junior - Devil

Super Junior - Devil

Super Junior - Devil click on the image above for shopping info ^^

AHHHHHH SJ IS BAAAAAACK!!! OMG I always anticipate their comebacks with all the enthusiasm my poor fangirl heart can muster (which is a lot), and Suju doesn't disappoint! They've been doing this so long, each comeback is so smooth and so pro. I love EXO and BTS and all the younger guys too, but I still need SJ to come around once a year and school everyone on how it should be done! Super Junior is like "You think you're confident? THIS is confidence. You think you're sexy? THIS is sexy.

Bringing sexy back since 2005 >///<

One of the best and most unique things about Super Junior is their humor and ability to not take themselves too seriously. I know other groups try to joke around, but most are far too concerned with their cool image to really let loose and goof off. That's why SJ is still so important to the K-pop landscape even ten years later! Ten years is a looooong run for a boy band, but SJ still gets all the love from fans. Their personalities are what SM markets best, not their amazing talent or their ability to look hot in a suit.

Though I'm sure it helps.

Anyway, SJ has found a formula that really works for them over the years and I won't argue with them. Classy suits, a smooth and sexy sound, and awesome dance moves all blend together beautifully into that classic SJ image we know and love. 'Devil' is no exception, and I have personally already seen both ELF and non fans singing along and tapping their feet to the song as it plays around Seoul. I'm so proud of our boys as they celebrate both another hit and their tenth anniversary! Ohhhh I can't wait for the party in November! ^o^

As for the fashion in the music video, it would have been easy to do menswear looks inspired by some of the members' more fabulous suits. However, I chose two looks based on the girl, the titular "devil" (don't get me started on SM's portrayals of white girls in MVs--that's a rant for another time).

The look on the left is from her scene with Kyuhyun: "Devil's Temptation." It features a kind of sexy business woman vibe: white silk blouse, black pencil skirt (with slit), and the glorious ankle strap pumps that stood out most to me. Don't forget the smoky eye and red lipstick!

The look in the middle is based on her outfit in "Street Dance of Love" (lol) featuring the black crop top and sequin skirt. I thought the little devil horn headband might be fun for a night out too!

The look on the right is inspired by Yesung's wonderful red blazer, white tee, black pants, black and white loafers combo. Yesung oppa isn't even my bias, but his outfit really stood out to me (and I'm happy he's back!).

We all know Eunhyuk is my ultimate bias now and forever! He killed it in that burgundy suit, too <3

What did you think of the song and MV? How about the live performances?

Also, I have a very exciting makeup project in the works to celebrate 'Devil,' so please expect! I hope everyone loves the SJ comeback and spreads the ELF love during their promotional period! As always, please comment with any looks you'd like to see next~~~

Kisses,
Angela

K-pop Style: AOA - Heart Attack

AOA - Heart Attack

AOA - Heart Attack by luhunnie

Real quick, I just wanted to post a couple of looks from AOA's performances of "Heart Attack!" I like the MV, but lacrosse inspired fashion isn't really my cup of tea. I think their cute ensembles in the performances are more wearable though! I loved Jimin's off the shoulder white shirt with the pink mini. I also thought the schoolgirl looks with the plaid skirts were cute too! I'm not a fan of wedge sneakers though (I'm tall enough), so some simple white kicks like these Lacoste ones are perfect for this look. For makeup, the girls have really fresh and rosy looks, so I'm going for this lip and ckeek tint from Korres. As for the cat ear headband, why not? *sings along to "Like A Cat"*

What did you think of the song? I love the word 심쿵 haha--it's one of my favorite Korean words (thanks, BF, for teaching it to me!) and I use it all the time. I thought the lacrosse motif was a bit much, but I really enjoy the song itself!

Also, I thought Jimin's sqeauky chipmunk voice was weird and annoying at first, but it really grew on me! Now I think it's really cute kkkk.

Feel free to leave requests for any looks you want to see!

Kisses,
Angela

Date Look - Namsan Tower (Summer)

Date Look - Namsan Tower

Date Look - Namsan Tower by luhunnie

For one of the most popular date locations in Seoul for both locals and tourists, how about dinner and sightseeing at Namsan Tower? It's one of Seoul's most easily recognizable landmarks and makes a romantic setting for your lovely date. There are several great restaurants with breathtaking views of Seoul, day or night. I first learned about it back in 2010 after watching Boys Over Flowers for the first time! Remember when Jun Pyo and Jan Di got locked in the cable car overnight? Now the whole world sees it as a romantic destination.

Freezing cold and awkwardness! Ah, romance! (j/k I love these two forever)

For date night, there's a cozy mid-priced Italian restaurant with couple seats facing out to the windows called THE PLACE. Your outfit can be pretty but somewhat casual, like the look on the left with a cute floral skirt and crisp white shirt.

For info on the menu and prices check out their official site here.

I would definitely wear flats with this outfit along with some cute and simple accessories. Try The Face Shop Mango Seed Glow Date-Prep Butter to give your skin a fresh and flawless base for your makeup.

If you really want to go all out, however, try the fancy French restaurant n.GRILL at the very top of the tower! It actually revolves slowly to give you a gorgeous 360 view of the city that will take your breath away (sunset is the best time to go!).

Again, you can view menus and prices at their official site.

This restaurant is $$$$, so make sure you dress accordingly! I've put together a lovely look for a nice night out on the right. Isn't that lavender dress beautiful? For extra charm, style your hair in a romantic updo and keep the accessories small and pretty. The focus should be on your beautiful face, not your jewelry! As I said, this restaurant is really expensive, so I'd save it for a really special occasion like a graduation or engagement. Regardless, you'll want to look as lovely as possible!

Before or after dinner, there's a nice (cheaper) cafe to relax in and a yummy ice cream store! You can see the views from the observatory. Also, why not do what couples traditionally do at Namsan and purchase love locks? ^^ This is such a sweet custom: you buy (or bring) a pair of matching padlocks and write loving messages to each other before attaching them to the many many MANY walls and towers of locks already there. You then throw away the keys together over the side of the mountain (you're not technically allowed to do this, but everyone does). Generations of lovers have been pledging their love with these locks at Namsan, and doing so with my BF last year was one of the most romantic moments of my life!

A perfect memory.

Forgive the sappy messages, but I highly recommend waiting to go with someone until you're sure about them! It would be awkward to return with another guy later if things don't work out. Those locks are there pretty much permanently! You hear the odd story of someone going and trying to saw or cut theirs off after a nasty breakup, but your locks will be really difficult to find again! BF and I went again for his birthday only one month later and our locks were already buried by dozens of other couples' locks and tokens of love. It doesn't matter though--I actually rather like the idea of our locks being their forever under mountains of tokens from other couples in love. That's a lot of love, y'all!

I got a bit sidetracked from the fashion, but I hope you enjoy your romantic date at Namsan! For the perfect makeup look to go with it, see my casual day date look and my romantic date night look for inspiration! Chanel Chance eau Tendre is a gorgeous fragrance for a romantic date as well.

I'll be writing a post on visiting Namsan soon, and there will be another style post for visiting in the winter! If you wear the above outfits in cooler weather, you'll freeze your butt off! It can get pretty chilly up there kk.

Bye Lovelies!

K-pop Style: BTS - Dope

BTS - Dope

BTS - Dope by luhunnie

Fair warning, guys, I am OBSESSED with the choreography for this song at the moment. I really love BTS's agressive sound and think they're really talented in spite of their young age. However, they still seem really young to me...know what I mean? Like, when I see all their career outfits in the MV, I'm thinking "Aw, cute! They're cosplaying as grown ups!" instead of feeling the male stripper vibe I think the studio was going for. Despite their adorable faves, BTS always turns out really fierce performances that give them the manly aura they need. I wrote an article on them back when they ddebuted I'll have to link...

As for the looks from the MV, they were mostly based on different occupations: pilot, police officer (Kookie was too cute), office worker, etc. the looks I chose are based on their group outfits in the live performances. Let's take a look, clockwise from the left:

  • BTS fan bracelets to show your ARMY pride ^^
  • This AMAZING navy Moschino blazer with gold trim is evocative of their military style jackets from the Music Core comeback.

  • Dior Addict Lip Glow to give your lips that subtle rosy gloss that goes well with a menswear inspired look (some of the boys may or may not have been wearing it in the MV kkkk).
  • A plain white tee, because after watching so many of their dance practice vids, that's just a look I associate BTS with.
  • Black leather pants (imitation is better) because they looked great with the jacket in the live  performance!
  • Heeled black lace-up boots make a nice change from plain combat boots.
  • Cute red MCM backpack similar to the one Jung Kook has to add a bit of color. I have a beige one (Luhan's) and love it!
  • Handcuff bracelet, a nod to the adorable Officer Kookie kkkk
  • This black and white dress was a nice alternative to their simple white shirt, black skinny tie and pants outfits from the MV and the M!Countdown performance. Office appropriate, no? ^^
  • Some cute cat earrings just because I think Suga looks kind of like a cute cat.
  • Dope snapback for a bit of flair.
What did y'all think of BTS's comeback? Do Korean boy bands inspire your fashion choices? Who's your bias in BTS? :)

K-pop Style: BigBang - Bang Bang Bang

BigBang - Bang Bang Bang
Too fierce, just like our boys! Click on the image or the link below for shopping info ^^

BigBang - Bang Bang Bang

BigBang just had a massive comeback this summer with a whole host of fierce songs! I love them all, but my personal favorite has to be the bombastic "Bang Bang Bang!" The fashions are spectacular, the beat is on fire, and the MV looks like it was directed by someone coming off a week long anime and coke bender (don't play, GD, we know it was really you). "Bang Bang Bang" represents everything I love about BigBang and what makes them completely irreplaceable in the K-pop landscape. Above I've tried to make their outrageous awesome outfits wearable for even a girly girl like me kkkk.

Let's look at some elements of the look from left to right:

  • I love pink hair on pretty much anyone and everyone, so I won't question Taeyang's choice on this! If you want pink hair yourself hair chalk is great temporarily, or if you're forbidden to have pink hair for some reason (I'm looking at you, BF) pick a nice pink matte lipstick that makes an impact.
  • Some cute heeled Timberlands are a good alternative to Taeyang's suede...Uggs? What even were those?
  • I'm not a huge fan of camo in general, but a cute camo top echoes the tank scene nicely!
  • There are some fabulous black leather jackets in this MV, so pick a flattering one like this biker jacket!
  • The white Dr. Martens are a wearable alternative to GD's crazy boots in the car scene. I love the bright white point on an all black outfit!
  • Lots of studded and spiked jewelry. Go!
  • Dark denim, the more distressed or destroyed the better!
  • If you wanna really commit, get a collar necklace to echo GD's gurl-on-a-leash fashion. That was honestly my biggest wtf moment in this MV...but I love him for always bringing me those moments!
  • Cute clutch reminiscent of the title ^^
  • The best I could hope to come to rocking GD's epic fur coat is a fur vest.
  • Yessssss my favorite look was the crazy sequined red devil look GD sported! Channel it with an embellished red dress and these wicked sequin heels! And then...go get...a man on a leash? O.o
  • Add a spritz of some sultry but feminine Givenchy to balance everything. See what I did there? Givenchy...Giyongchy? *dorky high fives*

And that's that! What did y'all think of the MV? I liked it! Visually it was kind of a hot mess, but when is that ever not the case for BigBang? I even liked all the glitter! Sooooooo much glitter.

Well if y'all haven't guessed it, my bias is a certain Kwon JiYong. Who's your bias?? What was your favoriye BB song this summer? Let me know in the comments!

Kisses,
Angela
